Years ago, Mark Lasie of Westminster and I set up a notebook with a page for every month and started taking notes on Outlands history. It wasn't a very efficient way to go, but it was something.
That can be done better here, in public, with links to online documentation of various events and people, and with easy access to adding memories, details and comments.
Louis-Philippe has a wiki, and entries there can be linked here too, and maybe posts from the Outlands-History list. Some of that history, though, is not date-specific.
This blog can be a quick repository of people's memories and trivia concerning specific times and events.
Cut and paste the bad copy, edit it the way you want it, and post that. Go back and delete the one you don't want. A moderator will come by and delete the "this post was deleted" note.

I was saying someone should write an Outlands verse to the "Non Nobis" song from Brannagh's then-newish Henry V, and Artan said, "Why don't you?"
Four lines is about my poetic limit sometimes, and I came up with this:
Rejoice with the Outlands
Our foe is yet our friend
If in glory we fall or glory we stand
'Tis glory at the end.
It was a good excuse to sing that cool harmony, which is written out at the link above.
