Notes on Early History

Years ago, Mark Lasie of Westminster and I set up a notebook with a page for every month and started taking notes on Outlands history. It wasn't a very efficient way to go, but it was something.
That can be done better here, in public, with links to online documentation of various events and people, and with easy access to adding memories, details and comments.
Louis-Philippe has a wiki, and entries there can be linked here too, and maybe posts from the Outlands-History list. Some of that history, though, is not date-specific.

How to edit your own comment
Cut and paste the bad copy, edit it the way you want it, and post that. Go back and delete the one you don't want. A moderator will come by and delete the "this post was deleted" note.
Finding Things
Use the "Search Blog" box in the upper left to enter a month and mundane year (or a name or topic) and there is also this

22-23 Nov 1980 was Outlands Coronet Tourney in Loch Salann
Winner was Kveldulfr av Ulfsgaard, who chose Katlin (Yelisveta Katlin Savrasova) to be his princess.
At opening court (22 Nov 80) I resigned as White Stag Herald for the Principality of the Outlands and Anton Hojen was warranted as the new White Stag. Master Baldwin of Erebor came forward and announced his impending departure (from the kingdom of Atenveldt) and intention to make me Aten Principal Herald at Atenveldt Coronation.
This was held in the old Naval Sciences building on the University of Utah campus; not elegant, but a good indoors site for fighting in November in Utah.
